Warranty Policy
We at The Tiny Housing Co. understand that at times, our warranty may be required or a refund may be given. Whilst we strive to ensure that our process is clear and simple, with videos, photos & in-person visits to ensure that a customer is happy before delivery, we will accept refunds under the following circumstances;
The terms set out below refer to the following;
The Tiny Housing Co (Us/We), Tiny House (Product), other Tiny House related purchases (Product), Custom/Bespoke design work (Design) and Custom/Bespoke Tiny House Builds (Bespoke Product).
1.1. Our returns policy will not affect your statutory rights, stated under the U.K Consumer Rights Law (2015).
1.2. If the customer is unhappy with the product, then the following must occur;
1.2.1. The customer inspects the goods upon delivery, and if they find anything they’re unhappy with or find that there is a fault with the product, then the customer can either reject the goods and send it back to us, or take receipt of the goods to have fixed. the supplier. b) the customer must then notify us of the refusal of goods or the problems found, within a 24-period, ensuring that if the goods are returned to us, are sent back on the day of delivery, as it is the responsibility of the Customer to do so. c) upon return of the Product, we will endeavour to find & fix the issue and rearrange delivery at a convenient time. d) carriage costs for the redelivery will be the responsibility of the customer.
1.2.2. If the Product is one of our core models; Nomad, then this can be classified as a standard model and therefore as a standard Product. This Product will fall under the UK’s Consumer Rights Act 2015, meaning that the customer has the right to cancel the order after 14 days upon receipt of the initial 10% deposit, known as a cooling off period. If the customer finds a fault with the Product upon receipt of the Product and during the first 3-years of ownership, then they will have the right, under our standard warranty period, to be able to have any ‘structural elements’ fixed by a 3rd party or a member of our team to come and fix the issues. We have the right to choose a contractor or own staff based on costs and reasonable time frames. These typical faults include; electrical work, plumbing, and other fixtures & fittings installed by Us. Once agreed that the fault is due to improper installation or workmanship, we will cover the cost of the fault and pay the monies owed within 15 working days. If the problem is due to an appliance, fixture or fitting that falls under the manufacturer’s warranty, then the customer must approach the manufacturer to fix or replace that product.
1.2.3. If the customer chooses to custom design one of our core models by requesting any changes to the specification to any of the models on our website, then this will be classified as a Bespoke Product and is no longer a core model design.
1.2.4. If the Customer purchases a Bespoke Product, which includes Bespoke Design work being undertaken by Us, then this will fall under a ‘Bespoke Purchase’, which means that we will not be able to offer a refund, as there is no right under the Consumer Rights Act if the product is bespoke or customised to the Customer’s specification, as long as the product meets the Customer’s specification, is fit for purpose, and in working order.
1.2.4.1. We will offer our 3-year standard warranty, to cover any faults that arise, covering the cost of those faults upon receipt of an invoice from the tradesperson, and a full understanding of the fault, as to whether it was caused by Us or our workmanship for all Bespoke Products.

4. Intellectual Property All designs provided by The Tiny Housing Co Ltd are proprietary and are intended for personal use by the purchaser unless otherwise agreed in writing. The reproduction or redistribution of any designs without explicit written permission from The Tiny Housing Co Ltd is strictly prohibited.
5. Limitation of Liability The Tiny Housing Co Ltd shall not be liable for any damages that may occur from the use of our designs. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that all designs are reviewed and approved by qualified professionals for safety and compliance with local regulations before implementation.
